Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Christmas is a time for great food and that's exactly what we do, so why go anywhere else for one of the most important meals of your year? We have it all wrapped up from the main attraction to the smallest gift for that food lover.
Our poultry is proper free range with more than just 'access to the great outdoors'. These birds are actively encouraged to go outside to feed and to stretch their legs. All our poultry comes from Woolley Park Farm and is dry plucked, which means you get that lovely, crispy skin and loads of flavour. Order forms are available now from the shop and café or email us and we’ll send you a copy (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Of course Christmas isn't all about poultry, our Somerset beef deserves a place on the table too. Our aged ribs will be in prime condition for Christmas so get your order in early.
Our dry cured bacon, gammons and hams are all from Sandridge Farm in Wiltshire. We think they are the best around. We make all our own sausages too; there is no finer sausage in town.
Deliveries of fresh fish and oyster, mussels, scallops, clams, live crabs, lobsters and langoustine will be arriving as late as the morning of the 24th. Orders are not essential but if you would like something special please have a chat with our staff and we will do our best to ensure you get what you are after. Caviar from Exmoor and smoked fish from the Wye Valley will be available to order and buy from the food hall for that luxurious Christmas breakfast.
We have a great range of artisan cheese available to order or to pick up nearer the date. Come along in advance and try before you buy to make sure you get the cheese which is right for you and your guests.
Liz will be making the best Christmas puddings and mince pies again this year so be sure to reserve yours well in advance as there are very limited numbers available. We are also taking orders for brandy and rum butters, Ivy House clotted and double cream and Neal's Yard cremé fraiche.
All our meat is from local farms and small producers. We age our own meat here at Source and sell some of the best steak in the city. All sausages are made here with minimal additions and natural ingredients.

FRUIT & VEG
As local and as fresh as we can get with some very fine seasonal treats from small producers in Somerset.
In 2015 we put two bee hives on the roof of the Corn Exchange here is St Nicks. The bees have been so successful that in the second year we had eight hives and this year, our third year, we have been lucky enough to have an early crop of springtime honey. Our bees feed on plants and trees in near by Castle Park as well as window boxes and roof gardens. The honey is amazing and has a different taste at different times of the year. Stocks are limited so be quick if you would like a jar.
CAKES & PASTRIES
All made here without the use of palm oil or any other nasty ingredients. Tasting is believing.
Other treats coming from our mezzanine kitchen include jams, cheeses, chutneys and pickles. Changing with the seasons these jars of joy accompany the food we sell on our fresh counters all year round.
To make your meal complete we have a fine range of artisan wines, craft beers, local ciders and soft drinks as well as some special bottles of bubbly.
We have a great range of gifts available.

All our produce is seasonal and is very special! We change the menu daily to reflect the change in season. Highlights throughout the year include; game, shellfish, sea grasses and sea weeds, asparagus, wild garlic, venison, summer fruits, local cheeses, sea trout and of course our fantastic festivals celebrating Wild, British Game and Oysters.
